All my life I've been drawn to stories, whether they be fact or fiction. I've devoted my time and passion to helping change the world through storytelling, with a BFA in Creative Writing from Columbia College Chicago and an MS in Communication from Illinois State University. While earning both degrees, I learned the importance of language and words in our everyday lives, and how to tell stories that are full of intellect and heart. Whether I am crafting a work of fiction or conceptualizing content for a social media campaign, I am always considering the power of narrative to move people and ideas. Additionally, my meticulous eye as an editor, as well as my education in the nature of human communication, help to ground me in the more practical aspects of creativity.
